MAYHEM IN NEW YORK FOR AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL
Media mogul Tyra Banks hosted auditions for America’s Top Model in Manhattan, New York bringing out thousands of potential hopefuls dressed in haute couture from head-to-toe and eager to make it inside Bank Studios on a brisk, but cool day. All seemed well until a car began to smoke. Reminiscing thoughts over September 11th World Trade Center Travesty, caused either a concerned spectator or trickster in the crowd to illegally yell bomb. This caused major chaos and a stampede. There wasn’t any bomb, but many women began to scramble and soon the barricades around the event came crashing down. There were dozens of injuries. Some opportunists seized the moment to attempt to rob and snatch a few chains, handbags and jewelry. Some aggressive women began to bump into spectators and this caused not only an uproar, but a mini riot to break out as tempers flared. When police arrived to survey the commotion, several women and men were shouting obscenities and did not obey the officer’s instructions. These folks still wanted to fight and that is when New York’s finest took the law into their own hands to prevent any more outbursts and threw several folks onto the ground. One lady decided to kick an officer and he lost it and went after the lady. Apparently she was shouting over one of her friends being handled by the police. While people may attend events at their own risks, several spectators mentioned they are suing the city because the barricades alllowed too many people within a confined space. It looked like many models on March 14th were DYING TO BE AMERICA’s NEXT TOP MODEL. Tyra may want to consider opting for invited auditioned guests instead of open call auditions. Here is the video that reveals the inner workings of the crowd.
